The sun comes out religiously now,
for such a gloomy city - it sure knows how to party,
and still i just lay - here remembering my travels
California Spring time warms the back of my eye lids while
The Northwestern excitement crawls like an insect
from the streets, to my window sill,
inside of my ear and I roll over
then into the other ear and I take a shower.
But the man in the suit turned the power off today
So I am in an armor of bricks while ice cubes
fall hard, the first love ballad I've heard in months.
